I believe Jane’s visits to PEI and Eastern Canada, were always enjoyable for her, except for maybe, the ‘getting here’. 

She especially enjoyed meeting all her Island relations; the many tours exploring the Province and spending time at various cousins’ homes, while making her base with us, as we did with her on our visits to Lowestoft. 

Her trips coincided with Canada Day celebrations, which she embraced with enthusiasm. She even took this day of celebration back to Lowestoft and re-created it a few times for family and friends by having Canada Day luncheons out, complete with as many Canada themed items as she could acquire. 

She loved her Canadian family, always kept in touch either by phone or multiple letters. She always inquired as to how everyone was ‘over here’ and kept us up to date with news on family and relations from ‘her side of the pond’. 

We are saddened by her passing and will sorely miss our Lowestoft connection.
